Profile URL not working

Hi,
I used the URL ("µc + ARDUINO-IDE - YouTube") of my YouTube channel in the personal settings (beside the world symbol) of my profile, which is shown below the profile icon beside each of my posts, but when I click on it a page with the URL "**https://forum.arduino.cc/**www.youtube.com/channel/UCKihQfvKdgHTQ4zKvxKkK8w" opens that says "File not found"!

I am not sure if you can include links to external web pages in your profile.

Well, you're supposed to be able to set a website title and URL in your profile (under Forum Settings), but this feature is currently broken. When I set those fields, it sticks for a few minutes, and then disappears.

There could be a (valid) concern about spammers setting up account profiles with nasty links. :stuck_out_tongue: I have suggested that it be dependent upon your post count.

Setting the website field in the Personal Info seems to work for me... I'm not sure if it will stick.

Well, I just discovered that it was just a missing "http://" in the forum profile settings that was causing the problem. I had "www.youtube...", but with "http://www..." it is working!

@Joegi

SO many thanks for that...going to try it and see if it sticks.

Must be a recent change!
