No, but I have a LONG list of not-favorites.

Paul

I highly recommend The Lawrence Welk Show. If that isn't available in your area, there's always Don Messer's Jubilee.

Pete

I like shows based on their theme music.
"Lost on Space" with the french horns, one of my favorites.
And "Six Million Dollar Man" with the tympani solo to start is another.

Lost in space from Netflex.

This is the real robot from Lost in Space:

^^ powered by Arduino. No, actually by Bill May.

Currently my favorite thing to watch is Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee. I'm also enjoying the latest season of Arrested Development. Also watching (but not enjoying so much) Ozark. Bateman headlines both, and the difference is jarring. I recently finished Goliath with Thornton in the lead - same kind of thing. It ruined a kid's show from my younger days.

But, for over a year now, and still taking up some brain time thinking about it is the latest season of Twin Peaks. I had seen the first two seasons and the movie. In combination, it is Lynch's magnum opus. In case anyone is interested, I've got a favorite theory. Kyle McLaughlin rocked his 3, er .. 4, 5? parts. J/k, just the one, but he does some crazy make up, hair style and ... body suit?

The Antiques Roadshow

...R

Elementary.

We used to live a few miles from North Bend, WA. Where the original Twin Peaks was filmed. My nephew was living with us and we took him to the restaurant for coffee and cherry pie. He loved it!

We still stop there for a meal when in the area. Still looks the same!

The Big Bang Theory

Hmm - in a forum such as this, how did Knight Rider not make the top 10??

The first self-driving car, with AI, voice calling, buttons (a ton of them), the first dash cam, and a YUGE display of blinky lights....

Don't forget the cool steering wheel which makes smooth u-turn nearly impossible.

And it had good theme music.

Is any kind of U-turn smooth in a TransAm?
I didn't think they were designed to do bends.

I liked "Breaking Bad" it broke new ground. The personalities of all the main characters changed throughout the series changing my sympathies towards them. Quite violent at times but with strong vein of dark humour and once even becoming almost slapstick (the fly in the lab).

Hi,
The old "Lost in Space" great. Fantastic production for ther era.

The NETFLUX "Lost in Space" absolute trash, they had the opportunity to show some great science and physics and they used all the latest CGI to defy science and physics.
They don't even know about acceleration and gravity fields. Let alone the forest having convenient track for the chariots to speed along like NASCAR.

Currently watching "Detectorists".
About to start "Marcella"

Loved "Altered Carbon", "Killing Eve", "Counterpart", "City in the City", "Deep State"

Tom... :o

I quite enjoyed the new "Lost in Space", it was a bit of escapism. Much worse was "Gravity" which was advertised as being realistic but whose ending degenerated into total fantasy.

Or you can look at it as a hallucination as she ran out of oxygen, and she's really floating dead in space.

Even if you look on it as an hallucination I think they missed out on a proper ending.

I am with @TomGeorge's sentiment for most films. There are Sci-Fi fils where the whole plot really annoys me because it is just stupid e.g. drilling to the centre of the Earth to restart the rotation of the core with nuclear weapons. There are other films that are basically quite good and factual and then they throw in one really stupid error that just destroys the illusion. I suppose it is the uncanny valley thing but for films instead of robots. If the film is clearly escapist like "Lost in Space" all is well, but if it attempts realism small imperfections grate.

Recently I saw "Hardcore Henry". If you can stomach the opening titles then you are probably the kind of sick individual that will watch the whole violent gorefest to the end. Not one of my favorite films but it was interesting because the entire film was seen through the eyes of Henry. I don't think I have ever seen a film shot like that before and the shoot-em-up action did carry me along.

The unusual filming made me remember "Run Lola Run". Now that was a good film and it was filmed in an unusual way which they managed to pull off. I will not spoil things by saying what they did, I was expecting to be dissapointed but it really worked.

For dog lovers "Benji" is a good family film (watch the end credits as well). The family pooch is going to have to pull its socks up and learn a few tricks after that one though.

Wife likes ‘Cable Girls’ and ‘Murdoc Mysteries’.
