You can build a Polargraph with 2 motors. Pretty easy build and very interesting (to me anyway). Plus free firmware and software.
Polagraph is cool - I'm also thinking about mirrors that turn.

Sinterklaas (the Dutch version of Santa Claus) brought me this this morning.

They are good for just looking at I2C and SPI to see how they actually function on the bus wires.
I recently got one of these;

Simple little scope, just doing some hardware mods to it, power switch and signal input socket not the most practical.
Single channel, but great to just grab and hook to a data line to see if there is any action, or ripple on a power supply line.

I saw them not too long ago. I was contemplating it as well, but found it slightly underspec'ed for what (I think) I need. Pricewise they looked very tempting.
