[SOLVED] ATTINY85 Can't upload sketch

Hi Guys I am using the high low tech from MIT with attiny85 but I am getting the following error.

The ISP connector should be 6 pins or 10 pins. How is you ATtiny connected to the ISP header? Did you 'burn the bootloader' first? As I understand it that doesn't actually burn a bootloader but it DOES set the fuses correctly.

Hi John,

I made a mistake in my circuit believe it or not. I ripped up almost everything... Then I discovered.... I had a push button connected to sck pin of my tiny85.. Normally this is fine on its own but I added a cap for debouncing.. And this raised the voltage floor on the pin to 1.8V which then slowly discharged.. Causing havoc..

Honest mistake :slight_smile:

At least its fixed.
