Read/store data from an LED voltmeter (300v) to a computer using arduino

hello guys! im a complete stranger to arduino but would definitely want to learn about it.

i have a project wherein i need to store the data of an led voltmeter (the ones bought from ebay and amazon) to a computer automatically. can an arduino help me with this? the voltage range would be at about 170v to 240v dc.

More details, please.

Unless the LED voltmeter has a RS232 interface there is no point in doing this.

And if the voltmeter does, why use an Arduino ? It makes no sense!

.

These are high voltages, unless you know what you are doing - avoid .
240DC can easily kill

Many good multimeters have an opto-isolated USB serial interface which is exactly what is needed here...
