Here is my custom designed Arduino board called "Microduino"
the idea is spliting Arduino circuit into two parts: Microduino-Core is MCU part and Microduino-FT232R is for ttl2usb.
two boards can be stacked together through U-shape pinout, the pinout is compatible to hole board, because pin pitch is 0.1inch.
I would like to hear your opinions about it. thank you.
Looks sharp with the white solder mask.
I've done the same with 328s and 1284s with more power & Gnd connections if desired, haven't done a mating USB/Serial adapter yet. Was thinking of doing a power supply module too, but small stuff is really intended to be battery powered, say 3 AA to AAA or a flat 3.7V LiPo.
RS232 module, shift register module, too many ideas to implement. Seems at some point it gets easier & cheaper to spread out vs stackup and not have so many connectors. http://www.crossroadsfencing.com/BobuinoRev17
Hooray! Your project, Microduino: Arduino in your pocket--small, stackable, smart, has been accepted!
Finally got approval from Kickstarter! We will launch Microduino at 10AM, 9th/Sep (EST)! Please look forward to!
