For Arduino day, the local Microsoft group hosted a small meetup at their "Garage" internal maker-space.
I offered to do a presentation, and settled on "Arduino Alternatives" as the most likely audience-appropriate topic (it was aimed at beginners, mostly. Several people brought their middleschool-aged (?) kids.)
The idea was to expose some of the hardware beyond the the Arduno Uno, including other boards from Arduino, plus Adafruit, Sparkfun, and ... many more. A sort of picture show with show-and-tell, along with a bit of history and philosophy.
Anyway, the Powerpoint is online here: Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online. (Micrsoft, so ... OneDrive!) if anyone else is interested in taking a look. Most pages have notes as well as the slide.
