Title: Adding copper images in Eagle
Post by: MontySylver on Nov 27, 2012, 12:06 pm
Hi! I am trying to find out how I could add a picture in Eagle that will be etched into the ground plane. Since Google didn't quite help, I hope someone here knows how to do that.

There is a script in Eagle for inserting bitmaps. Set it to the correct layer and it's all done.

Sounds easy enough, but where can I find it? (Eagle newbie)

Up in the top toolbar is a white symbol saying 'scr'. Press it and double click on the file that says bitmap import (or similar) and the dialog boxes will talk you through it .

Yep sorry that's it. I found it by messing around with the pretty buttons ;)
