Interacting with a Gameboy Printer

Hello Arduino communuty,
for long I've had two old Gameboy Printers laying around in my House and wanted to use them to Print by PC and maybe also even via a standalone Arduino (Like printing weather data, etc. possiblilites are existing  )
Now (not actually, I've seen this long before, but never had any microcontrollers back then) I've stumbled accross furrtek.fr again (they were featured on hackaday) and I've downloaded the code written in C

but my skills are not that high, that I would know how to port that for an arduino and I now wanted to ask if anyone of you could do this and maybe also explain how you did this

greetings from germany :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT:

I have now, after going deeper in search found a port of furrteks Code by milesburton, here it is :

thread can be closed i think
