I'm new in the forum and in the magic world of arduino.
I'm planning to create a wireless talking parrot which I could control from the computer, ex using a web page. The parrot should be able to say 50-100 sentences, and I would like to be able to control which sentence the parrot should say using a control page on the computer.
As you surely image I need some directions for the components to use.
What I was thinking of was an arduino, an mp3 player attached to it with a SD/Mini-SD reader and an ethernet shield of some form.
My idea was to save all sentences in the SD card as MP3 or WAV files, and create a server on the ethernet shield which receives the command of which sentence to play.
As you imagine dimension is a problem, my toy parrot is not big and everything should be no more than 6cm x 4cm x 4cm.
Do you think this is the correct way to accomplish the project or you can suggest something different ? Have you got any component to suggest ?
