Title: VL6180 does not seem to work with the MKR1000
Post by: AugustoEst on Oct 26, 2016, 11:11 am
I'm having some trouble making the VL6180 sensor work with the MKR1000 (SparkFun, SEN-12785).

I'm using the latest library and example provided: https://github.com/sparkfun/SparkFun_ToF_Range_Finder-VL6180_Arduino_Library

The code compiles fine, but after it's uploaded into the board, it makes it disappear from the list of USB devices available.

I'm using the Arduino IDE 1.6.11, and I've connected everything correctly:

MKR1000-VL6180
5V-VCC
GND-GND
SCL-SCL
SDA-SDA

This sounds like something in the library or sketch is causing the board to crash.

You'll have to dive into the library to see where it gets stuck or raise an issue with SparkFun to get them to look into it.
