Title: Which crimp tool to buy: 6, 8 & /or 10 gauge wire
Post by: DocStein99 on Sep 12, 2017, 10:57 pm
I'm doing alot of heavy battery / welding cable lately and do not have a tool in my box to crimp these fat terminals.  I've been using plyers and solder, they get it done but I want upgrade.

I mainly do 8, starting 6 gauge.  Is there a combo 6,8,10 gauge die crimp tool?  Was wondering if anyone with experience had advice to help me pick out a starter-ratcheting style.

Used this one at work for many years, worth the cost.
