Title: Grey out port in Arduino IDE
Post by: SummerGram on Sep 12, 2018, 08:24 am
I bought 2 Arduino MKR WAN 1300 from RS Components.

I connected both of them to my PC which is windows 8 but the port in the Arduino IDE is gray out. And I installed the SAMD Boards already.

When I connected to the PC, the yellow light (on) is on and the orange light is blink.
Are the boards faulty?
Am I missing something?

The most common cause of this problem is using a charge-only or defective USB cable which does not have the data lines connected. Verify your USB cable works for data on another device.

Second most common cause is not installing the driver.

I changed the cable. And click the reset button twice. Now it works. Thanks!
