Title: SIM800L v.2 - Need some help
Post by: George-EL-Khoury on Jun 08, 2019, 12:40 pm
Hello, I recently bought this GSM module (https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1mxndXUWF3KVjSZPhq6xclXXa2/SIM800L-V2-0-5V-Wireless-GSM-GPRS-MODULE-Quad-Band-SIM-Board-Quad-band-With-Antenna.jpg)
maybe that was a mistake  :smiley-roll: but how can I connect a speaker and a microphone to it? Any ideas?
Thank you!

Look for the spk+ and spk- pin for speaker connectivity and mic+ and mic- for mic connection.

take that metallic shield off, to expose the module's pin out, go for sim800L's datasheet to trace for spk+/spk- and mic+/mic-

you better be good at soldering to tap the wires out of those pins, don't forget the caps
