Title: 5v isolation to create a -5v signal
Post by: FABYNOU on Jul 17, 2019, 11:13 am
Hello,

I want to create a -5v signal to power an operational amplifier. For that, I thought I would use a 5V-5V optocoupler to isolate the 5v and create -5V of the arduino. Would it work? However, I do not know this technology, I do not know which optocoupler to choose. I do not need a great power.
Can you help me ?

Thank you so much!

Sorry for my bad English, it's not my native language.

No, an isolator will not "produce" power.
Try an icl7660 or similar...
