Video Turntable Build

Considering these products for a powered Lazy Susan rotating platform to hold objects for filming (primarily potted plants).
Slow speed, and up to maybe 10 lbs capacity.

The second item includes a motor but cannot find any specs on it.
Anyone used this motor and can recommend it for my application?

Thanx, Alan

I have a bunch of different Lazy Susan bearings. I wonder how you plan to drive the platform with the motor? Friction on the rim? Rubber belt on the rim? Other ways?

Paul

The examples I have seen from other videographers were direct drive and resting on a standard lazy susan bearing assembly, from Home Depot.

Found a much simpler (non-Ardiuno) solution.

Brushless motor with a matching (0-100%) speed controller for $25.

Already have the 24v power supply.

This idea appears regularly on this forum. If you'd post a link to your solution it may help someone else.
