IDE cant find the USB port

This is for IDE 1.8.13 and the board is a Feather Huzzah.
I am trying to run Blink.
Frankly, I get a bit frustrated whenever I see this error. It pops up every once in awhile and I dont know what I do to fix it. It just goes away. Maybe I need a new bucket of chicken bones.
Anyway, here are some clues.
Running linux

I've had this on occasion. At least one time it was the result of a flaky USB cable. I'm pretty sure you aren't using the same USB cable for the UNO as you are for the ESP, I'd try a different cable.

Jim.

Average, I have had this happen a few times, so I had checked that. In this case unfortunately, it was the Feather itself that was faulty. Oops, $$$$$
