Title: Remote Controls and Card embedded antennas
Post by: aimaty on Sep 28, 2015, 09:46 pm
Anyone knows anything about reading/capturing the signals from a remote, with the idea of copying them and replicating the remote control? It would come in hande at home, TV remotes get dead a lot.

And what about those cards with a multi-turn antenna embebed in it, with what i think is a small IC? Like those for transportation. I find that very interesting, is it possible to interact with it? Read, write?

My very best regards.

For infrared you could use Arduino-IRremote
 (https://github.com/z3t0/Arduino-IRremote).

If never seen any of them used for transportation of anything but information, :o
but it could be something in the 2.4GHz range, bluetooth, WiFi, NRF24L01, ...

Are you talking about RFID tags? Post a picture of what you mean.
