Title: PCB chip holder for arduino nano/micro
Post by: afedorov on Jul 18, 2018, 09:36 pm
Hello

I want to design a PCB for my device but I don't want to solder arduino to it. I want to be able to take it off for other projects or in case it destroys or malfunctions.

I have those - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076GZXW3Z/?coliid=I38JI7CUF5MU62&colid=10W4Q8RZ4F6CH&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it but there are too bulky. are there are smaller options?

The round pin headers are more low profile than the standard headers:

but you need to use the round male headers too:

You can't use the round pin female headers with the regular male headers.
