Well, not knowing what code you are trying to compile, but seeing that you mention "Uno" in the first line, how is this all related to the Uno?
(And yes, I can compile/verify for my Uno/Leonardo/Mega2560/etc in 1.5.5 (or now actually 1.5.6) just fine, not only for the Yun)
