i thought touch pads came in 4, 5, or 8 wire pinouts. i opened up my old android and the digitizer had a lot more pinouts. anyone know what kind of connector this is and how could i interface this with a computer or an arduino?

Resistive touchpads will have a very few pins, but capacitive ones will have a lot more, and without a dedicated controller, will be almost impossible to drive.
