Arduino Due Audio question (Simple Audio Player)

Are there any alternatives to the LM386 I can use as I do not have any of those on hand, I happen to have quite a few LM385, which aren't audio amplifiers but traditional ones. I'm not expecting or requiring the 'best' quality of sound as I'll be playing one wav file once or twice (that is about 30 plus old and its source file is from a Super Nintendo).

What circuit modifications would I need to make for substituting the LM385 with the LM386?

Anyone?

Unless I am mistaken, the datasheet indicates that the LM 385 is simply a diode, i.e. not an amplifier at all. So there is no simple modification such that you can use it in place of an LM 386.
