Hello, i'm about buying this board, but i wonder, right now, it's possible to make calls to a web server with 3G speed (and 2G callback) right out of the box

Thanks!

Please see the following example: https://github.com/arduino-libraries/MKRGSM/blob/master/examples/GsmWebClient/GsmWebClient.ino - you might also be interested in the other examples listed on Github which are also bundled with the MKRGSM library.

Thanks for you reply!

Are you sure that example will connect as 3G/HSDPA (if available) automatically? I can read in the example: "attach the shield to the GPRS network with the APN" , so i guessed it will connect to GPRS  net (and GPRS speed)

what do you think?

Yes, GPRS can operate on both 2G and 3G networks.
