Hello,

I am a beginner for linux. I am doing a IOT project (LoRa) in which decided to use Hauwei 3G dongle E3531 to allow the gateway (MS14) access the internet. I have watched the video on Youtube of how to use 3G dongle for Arduino Yun Shield.

Here is the link for the video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XK92dmV5Ug&t=76s

As required in the video, I decided to update packages by the command 'opkg update' by using SSH via putty. However, it gave an error, wget returned 4, failed to download the packages.

Here are the screen captures for the unsuccessful opkg update:

Do anybody can help me to solve this kind of problem? Is it related to network connection problem?

Thank you!!!!

If only I could read that...

For error messages, logs, sketches etc you should copy and paste using code tags ( </> )

For some odd reason I could not use the standard OPKG routine until after I had updated the firmware.
That was a long time ago mind you but it may be worth checking especially if it is an older YUN.

It may not be the answer you were looking for but its the one I am giving based on either experience, educated guess, google or the fact that you gave nothing to go with in the first place so I used my wonky crystal ball.
