AWOL

This thread in "Installation and troubleshooting" currently runs to about twenty pages, and attracts more than its fair share of spam.
So much so, its ghost twin in the recycle bin, consisting almost exclusively of deleted spam, runs to twelve pages!

I've always thought it would be worth creating a dedicated thread just for that purpose. It's lucky that so much spam gets centralized on one thread. It would be much harder to catch if they always spread it out across random threads.

Yeah, but it's one I'm subscribed to so that I can get notifications of the valid posts on that thread. If there was a dedicated spam trap thread, everyone except the moderators could ignore it.

I'm always extremely impressed by the excellent work the forum moderators do here. It's incredible how fast that spam gets deleted!
