Hello,

So I am trying to set up my Sparkfun USB host to my Arduino UNO.

There is a program written already in the examples section called QC (quality control) and it returns me with this error :

Circuits At Home 2011
USB Host Shield Quality Control Routine
Reading REVISION register... Die revision invalid. Value returned: FF
Unrecoverable error - test halted!!
0x55 pattern is transmitted via SPI
Press RESET to restart test

If you can give me any tips on how to fix it, it would be great (and yes the usb host is turned on).

Thank you.

Try the code with the USB Host in a drawer in another room in another town.

Sorry I might not get what are you saying. I have said that the USB Host is turned on because some of the other threads had it turned off and gave the same error.

Well, you provided almost no information, from what anobody else but you could deduct what you are actually doing and what you expect to happen. And besides information, there is probably also some code involved which is not given.
