Topic: Arduino Proto shield use: how to solder to connect together components? (Read 2026 times) previous topic - next topic

I just bought an Arduino Proto Shield (it is not the last V3 version, but I guess the V2 or something, it is not written on it..)
The prototyping area consist of holes that are unconnected electrically to each other, with only a very small round soldering surface. I was wondering what was the correct way to connect together the soldered components?

I 'm used to non Arduino prototyping PCB with unconnected holes, but in that case each hole as a rather big square soldering area, which makes "easy" to bridge soldering between two holes (and hence two components). Is this the way I should deal with the Proto Shield? or is there another way?

Thanks a lot.
