Hi i am pretty new in this :-)

whit is the deferences from  a HEF 4094 and a HEF 4095 ???

one is a 8 bit shift register with a latching output (kind of like a 74595), the other is a JK flip flop

Pretty much every 4000-series IC is totally different - different logic functions or number of inputs / outputs or whatever - don't expect logic in the numbering (only in the chips, LOL).

I saw one toaster (I had it in my kitchen a few years ago), having inside a rather larger PCB containing 3 or so 40xx ICs- no microcontroller here :)

Should have taken out the PCB but I did not, just one plastic shielding became loose, broke out finally, so I saw the PCB.
