[OP Solved]Please help me...

So i went out and bought some blank pcb's and some 5x8 dot matrix's..
Problem is.. i have no idea how the heck to use them

The datasheet number on the matrix is ltp2558aa

And the pcb's look like this:

Solved! I know what to do now.. after reading the datasheet it makes sense

Are they boards with just holes in?, no copper strips or pads?

yeah.. Just holes.. i was told it was like a thin breadboard, but i tested it and its nowhere near that..

Take it back, they sold you the wrong part.

You need Stripboard (veroboard in the Uk) or perfboard (that has copper pads around all the holes).

Ahh! it does have copper pads.. thats neat..
