Hi
I am planning to use ULN2064B ic in my project. when i checkedthe datasheet, it is mentioned that each dqrlington provides about 1.5A at a breakdown voltage of 50v. Does this mean that I have to use 50v supply to get that much of current. How much can i get at 12v?

No, 50V is the maximum rating

1.5A see the graph, i/p current controls o/p current
Have you looked at ULN2803 (500ma for each) you get 8 drivers, can be put in parallel, with common snubbing diodes.
You can get 1.5A at any voltage.
I used uln 2003. The ic burned off when i used it. i need more than 500mA.
What "did you say" you were driving?
