Ours is finally melting after two weeks...But hold on cos I know it will be back with a vengeance.

It may not be the answer you were looking for but its the one I am giving based on either experience, educated guess, google or the fact that you gave nothing to go with in the first place so I used my wonky crystal ball.

My wife said it's wonderful to see the freshly fallen snow.

Well it's be 3 days of freshly fallen (wet) snow and guess who had to move it 3 times.
