I download drivers for arduino UNO R3, as indicates on arduino's site. Aparently all is installed correctly, but when I  try to star de file .exe on W7, only appears the initial IDE screen for some seconds (two or three) and... stop it!!

I tried for a couple of times with same result.

Can someone tell what is happening??

Regards.

Hi, I'm not running Windows, but other people in this forum had the same problem because they had an incompatible version of Java. One thing that may solve your problem is moving the whole Arduino directory to the root of your disk (for example, c:\arduino). If this doesn't work, you may run the program from the command prompt with a logging option:

Code: [Select]

arduino.exe --lj4-debug

This should create a file with a .log extension containing information that you can post here.
