Would like advice and tips for a book about Arduino

First I would like to tell that I already have experience in electronics and C programming. I have used PIC microcontrollers. For PIC I have a comprehensive book about that. I like to
have book instead of reading everything on a computer monitor. Therefore I'm looking for a book (or maybe books) about Arduino but not to expensive. What could be a good choice for Arduino specific stuff but not things I already know like microcontroller basics (but Arduino basic stuff is ok) and programming and the C language. Does a good book that full fill these criteria exist?

I like the Ardunio Cookbook. LOTS of detailed examples. The electronic version on my iPad works best for me..

If you already know electronics, C, and microcontrollers why do you need a book? The Arduino website, the forum, and google alone should be enough to fill in any gaps.

Hi jfri,

Are you german? Because the best book (to me) that fulfill both criteria is this one:

Since the book is by two germans written, I don t know, if exists the translated version in english

No I'm Swedish and the price of that book would be to high for me.

Lets say I prefer a comprehensive book as a complement to internet as the only source

I will surely consider it. Seem to be comprehensive and very arduino specific

Sorry.... I sent you the version with the UNO Board included.
There is the only Book version:

not so expansive.

I consider the book the best, if you already know C and Arduino.

Maybe you find it in Sweden.

Bye

I already know C but not Arduino. And although I know some german it's very far from how good I can english. So a book in german is not interesting for me.
