Topic: Touch Screen Accuracy (Read 740 times) previous topic - next topic

I have read on here on how the resistive touch screens are not always accurate, especially with finger presses. I have noticed as I press that multiple samples are taken and that the majority is where I am touching on the screen.  My thought is to determine the button press, by looking at the majority of samples for the duration of a button press... maybe up to 2 tenths of a second.  Does this sound feasible?  Or is there a better way?

Maybe faster than that. I would do a 20 times/s response time. Otherwise it maybe too slow.

Fair enough... Anyone have a better way or idea? I assume everyone does not implement touch with simply a stylus in mind.
