Topic: Troubleshooting Freeduino board! (Read 885 times) previous topic - next topic

Hii there everyone.
I am newbie and just brought a Arduino Self Learning Kit from Technido.
I got a Freeduino board, the original microcontroller of which i lost.

I got a blank ATmega 328 with me allright.
What do i gotta do to burn the bootloader???

When i plug in the USB at Win 7, the power LED lights up. The IDE shows COM 10 active. But there is nothing i can do after that.

Please suggest!

Thanks a lot.

Tools>Board  Select the correct option for 328.  Is it a 328 or 328p?
Tools> Burn Bootloader.

In order to "Burn Bootloader" you'll need additional "programmer" hardware of some kind.  Could be a "professional programmer", could be another arduino running a special sketch...
