How to get input data from Application .net

I am newbie to arduino and would like to know how to pass input data from my .net window application and able to read at arduino uno / arduino mega?
Do i need to installed other software? Any tutorial guide for this?

Hi,

I just updated the CmdMessenger messaging library with a C# counterpart, that runs in .NET and Mono. Maybe that is what you need?
