Hello,
I am trying to burn bootloader onto a fresh ATMEGA328P-PU using arduinoISP.  I am using 16Mhz external crystal.

I have followed all the instruction described in this link.
http://www.instructables.com/id/Burning-the-Bootloader-on-ATMega328-using-Arduino-/?ALLSTEPS

But it gets error :
avrdude: Expected signature for ATMEGA328 is 1E 95 14    Double check chip, or use -F to override this check.

I am confused if the board description is correct or not.

Please help.
Thank you.

The instructable is about how to put the bootloader into a (mistakenly purchased) ATmega328 chip, instead of the ATmega328P chip that is the usually used chip (and which you appear to have.)  So you actually need a simpler set of instructions, and need to use "atmega328p" in all the places that you need to provide a processor type.
