Hi everybody !

I'm a new owner of an Arduino Board YUN. I'm on IDE 1.5.5.
I bought an LCD screen on Adafruit : a standard LCD 16x2 screen (http://www.adafruit.com/products/181).
I follow this tutorial in order to have the basic message "Hello World" on my LCD : http://learn.adafruit.com/character-lcds/wiring-a-character-lcd

I checked 10 times, everything is correctly wired, and I change the code "LiquidCrystal lcd(12, 11, 5, 4, 3, 2);" by "LiquidCrystal lcd(7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12);"
My screen is blue, and my 10k potentiometer works. I see this http://learn.adafruit.com/assets/932 and this http://learn.adafruit.com/assets/933 when i twist the potentiometer.

But I haven't the message "Hello World", do you have an idea ?
Is that a problem of pin on my Arduino ?

Many thanks for your help,

Alex

It works now...
I didn't change anything and it works... so strange.

Finally, I found the solution : one of my wire was dead...
So incredible !!!

I know this is a tad older, but if it isn't any trouble... What was the reason for changing the lcd pins?  Was it for your project, or was it to work with the Yun and there was a pin conflict?  Just curious as I will be trying to get an OLED display going with this board, and will be trying to get the display to show information from a google spreadsheet.

Thank you
