I want to making a machine that can print waterproof thermal stickers about 12mm wide.
I have Arduino Uno and Arduino Leonardo. And I want to use Arudino to control a thermal printer to printer waterproof label to stick on my own bottle, etc.
I can buy Brother Laminated Black On White Tape 2Pack on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Brother-Laminated-Black-White-TZe2312PK/dp/B0013CED4I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1393214864&sr=8-1&keywords=label+tape
But I wonder that is there any part for thermal printer can print this type of tape and can be controlled by Arduino?

Have to find a printer with a serial interface.
I have a Brother printer that uses similar tape, but it has no external interface.

Do you mean brother PT-D200? And is there some thermal printer or thermal printer head is 12mm wide and can be controlled by Arduino?

Is there any one can help me choose some kinds of thermal printer head?

The brother printers are only waterproof because they are laminated after printing by the machine.

Is there any cheap thermal printer that can be controlled by arduino?

Brother holds the patents on those tapes.
You cannot print on them directly on the surface you print under the surface.
No one else makes them due to the patent.
Only option would be to hack a brother printer.
