Sorry for the vague subject, but, I want to make  a serial connection between two different arduinos(an arduino and a freeduino)
without using the tx and rx(default ones) pins as I want them to connect to the PC.
Now, this is how I want it to work - using laser(bidirectional) so that I can send an recieve data from one PC to another using 2 arduinos and laser communication. Please tell me what parts do I need to make this???
(Newbie but I know how to program using arduinos in-built libs pretty easily)

Google "arduino laser communication"
This has been done before and there is good web page on it with hardware descriptions.

Already did it. Only uni-directional communication is available AFAIK.

So put the same setup on both ends:

Thanks man. I'm new to this forum so I didn't  think it'd go this smooth but I've learnt my lesson.  :)
