This is our 2 wheels balance robot, which participated in the contest "Two wheel self-balancing racing 2014" ,which was held by Department of Mechatronic Engineering, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and ranked  7th for finishing the racing distance 1m in 1.27s.
The car included:
+ 1 board Arduino Mega 2560
+ 1 sensor MPU6050
+ 2 DC Motors with encoder s: 100 pulse per revolution.
+ 1 Driver L298
+ 1 battery 9V Dv
+ 1 external source 12V DC
+ Plastic plates.
+ Nuts,bolts
+ 4 thread rods

•Speed: 122r/min
•Diameter: 25 mm
•Output shaft:10 mm
•Weight: 90g

my idea is, you to make it like wheelie transformers autobot  $) 8) :D :D :D XD XD XD XD use some servos and ultrasonic sensors or sharp IR distance senors that will be awesome  :smiley-eek:

I have a MPU6255 that works well.
But i know the connection between MPU6255 and MEGA 2560 is different from yours.

May i ask for the connection pic of this code? Please...
