Topic: Arduino Nano V3.0 Won't upload (Read 788 times) previous topic - next topic

Running on Windows 7

I am trying to upload the blink example to an Arduino Nano V3.0

It is plugged into COM4 and in Tools -> Board, ATMega328 is selected

I am not using a programmer

When I upload normally I get "avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00"
When I upload using Programmer I get "avrdude: usbdev_open(): did not find any USB device "usb""

It seems to me like a settings problem but a solution has been elusive.  I am using the Arduino Nano in a classroom setting and 4 other groups have the same problem (also windows 7 and nano V3.0)

Please assist

Did you mean board selection = Arduino Nano w/ATMEGA328 ?

Did you install the correct FTDI driver that the nano uses, not the driver that the UNO uses?
