Hi,

here seems to be a similar problem.
http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,132493.0.html
But GY521 board for MPU6050 seems to have already a 2.2K resistor.

Yes. All you device should share ONE GND. The motor driver simply provides a computer controlled path to ground for the motor coils.

Hello,

I measured with an oscilloscope the SDA and SCL line of the mpu6050.
Please see attached image osz01.
Are these signals good?
At least mpu6050 seems to be alive.

When I turn on the motor mpu6050 does not deliver any curves.
Just flat lines with constant voltage. See image osz02
The arduino still receives "i2cRead failed".

Hi,

I could not control the noise from the "cheap" motors.
Finally I resolved the problem by using a (better?) motor from Pololu.

Robot is nearly balancing!

thanks for all support
