You quoted me, "Ordered a waterproof one now,  works like a charm" the HCSR04 is not waterproof. The JSNR04 is waterproof, worked for a while but but also had bad readings so I want just for hall effect switchs for my water levels

I thought you bought waterproof transducers and worked on that. Even I bought waterproof JSN but it works fine only when powered with 5v directly, when powered with 12->Buckconverter->5v it does not give consistent readings.

Do you have any idea of how to use waterproof transducers?

Same inconsistent readings problem for JSN SR04T. I think there is inherent issue with JSN SR04T as per this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N42Y-QOqwtA). I gave up on JSN SR04T and chose this other better sensor instead

The AliExpress link for the sensor above:

https://pt.aliexpress.com/item/4000312560051.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.11602d3aRnQa0a&algo_pvid=23074bbd-3d7a-4cf7-bf0e-604f300a43ca&algo_expid=23074bbd-3d7a-4cf7-bf0e-604f300a43ca-23&btsid=6c4d4106-542a-42c8-8427-6506cb53fc82&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_7,searchweb201603_53

I'll buy one and report back.

I had multiple JSN-SR04T and all of them had an issue with my water tank: They reported the right value, until the water levels dropped far enough and then only measured 20cm. I don't know if it bouned back off the walls or what it was, but nah. The tank isn't even that big. Maybe 1m in height.
