Topic: wlan reset not working? (Read 1 time) previous topic - next topic

yunyun

Hello, I'm a beginner at all things arduino, networking and programming so please bear with me. I set up the yun for wifi access, and found that it had trouble reconnecting every time after it was unplugged. When i reset the wlan settings and reconfigure them, it works again. So i have been doing this a few times. After a recent reset however, the blue light has stopped responding to the reset button, and the board does not seem to be resetting (i no longer see the board on available wifi connections). Wondering what i can do.

Wait.
The blue light and wlan reset are managed by linux: therefore they need about a minute to start working.

If you have uploaded a sketch that used the Bridge AND you pressed the YUN RST button, the yun may get stuck. This issue has been fixed in the latest version: check the link in my signature and the sticky post. Workaround is to unplug and replug the usb cable.

Also mind that if you just bought the yun, it may be out of date: again, see link in my signature.
