Topic: Can the LeapFrog Text and Learn be hacked? (Read 1 time) previous topic - next topic

I just shopped at a target store and saw the following at only $20, with a dot-matrix LCD display and a QWERT keyboard and many keys. Has anyone hacked into children toys like this one? Thanks.

Looks interesting but those sort of consumer things are not normally as hackable as you would like. A quick google of hacking doesn't revile much.

Thanks. That's unfortunate. The box looks really good, while my system resides in a cardboard box with a cutout for LCD screen. I wish I could make a better box for my projects.

check out the "dollar" stores for all kinds of fun cheap boxes (you can put the bandages or pencils in your cardboard box)

Thanks Osgeld. I think their plastic pencil boxes may make a decent home for arduino projects.
