Topic: Arduino IDE Font (Read 970 times) previous topic - next topic

Hello,

I hope this is the correct forum for this.

The font used by the Arduino Development Environemt (IDE) makes 'l' (lowercase L) look the same as "1" (one).

I noticed in preference I can change fontsize...

But is there a way to change the font?

BTW I'm on windows 7 64 bit using Arduino IDE v1.0.6

Apologies if IDE is the wrong word for the Arduino Software.

Hi 3DFun

You can change font in the Arduino preferences file.

Details in this thread:

http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=124862.0

And you can find where the file is located in File - Preferences in the IDE.

Hi,

Thanks.
I followed that thread but it does not appear to make any difference.
Hopefully someone there can direct me to what I have done wrong.

What operating system and version are you running?  And what version of the Arduino IDE?
