Using Arduino Audio

Hi,

I'm a student in industrial design at Ecal Lausanne / Switzerland and I would like a little help because i'm not a professional in Arduino and I have to combine a speaker with a microprocessor but I don't know how to do this. Is Arduino the best solution or I can use Sparkfun electronics with their MP3 Trigger or Raspberry Pi?

Depends on exactly what you are trying to do.

You can use them but I don't know if it will do what you want because I don't know what you want.

Raspberry Pi?

Less likely, Linux is not real time so things are more tricky with that, but it will play wav files straight out of the box.
