Topic: Supplying 3,3V pin with 3,3V? (Read 468 times) previous topic - next topic

Hello.

I have a FT232RL board and it needs to be set to 3,3V for the Due, but I need it to supply the due with supply voltage but looking at the schematic and reading the data sheet for the regulator has not answered me if it safe to input 3,3V on the 3,3V pin to run the board with.

Do you people know?

Ah never mind, I'll just solder a wire from any 5V point of the board and run that to Vin. to be safe.
But if any one has anything to say about the viability to supply the 3,3V pin with 3,3V, I know the product page says you can but it can damage things but maybe anyone have any more exact knowledge about regulators.
