Topic: How to make a phone call with data from the usb or audiojack (Read 1 time) previous topic - next topic

Hello i was wondering if it is possible to be able to upload data through the USB or audio-jack of a phone so that it can then make a call. I don't know if this would need a specific app that is able to read the data or what any help in this matter would be great as i am not familiar with android development.

Did you accidentally post this to the Arduino forum rather than the Android one?

Some mobile phones allow you to use AT commands through the USB ports.  It really depends on the phone and the driver.

BTW The subtle difference between the spelling of Arduino and Android can be confusing, but this particular question has nothing to do with Arduinos.

I meant to post it here i wanted to see if i could have an arduino interface with a phone so that it would send a command through either the micro usb or audio jack that would execute a command
